The project involved a comprehensive security upgrade at MOSTI C4 & C5, Putrajaya. To ensure system resilience and protection against power instabilities, the scope included specialized power management hardware alongside the camera system overhaul. The project was sub-contracted to Lux Electrical Enterprise and successfully completed within 2 months.
Expanded Technical Scope & Deliverables:
The deployment integrated high-definition imaging with robust power protection: Imaging: Replacement of 56 CCTV units for high-definition surveillance.
Storage: Installation of 3 New Network Video Recorders (NVR) for high-capacity footage retention.
Infrastructure: Deployment of 10 POE Network Switches to manage power and data distribution.
Power Resilience (UPS): Installation of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) to provide backup power, ensuring the surveillance system remains operational during blackouts and allowing for graceful shutdowns.
Circuit Protection (Surge Protectors): Integration of Surge Protection Devices (SPD) to shield sensitive NVRs and switches from lightning strikes and voltage spikes, critical for the Putrajaya area.
